PILATES & PREGNANCY
Pilates is considered one of the best forms of exercise available to pregnant women and one of the few that can be practiced throughout the pregnancy compared to other forms which cannot be practiced during the first 12 weeks.

This is because Pilates is a low impact exercise and helps maintain and improve the abdominal muscles and the pelvic floor which aids for an easier pregnancy, labour and recovery. Also as the pregnancy progresses the exercises can be altered to enable a more comfortable and beneficial session. Thus it is not only safe but also immensely beneficial for pregnant women.
